I'm a software engineer and technical lead based in Brooklyn.
I build financial systems and lead the teams that develop them. Much of my work involves payments: how money moves, which checks a transaction needs, and how to keep the systems dependable.
Background
I spent a decade at HBO building software for rights management and other parts of the business before moving into finance. Since then, I've worked on derivatives, treasury, payments, and risk systems at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.
How I work
I stay involved in architecture and implementation while helping engineers plan their work and develop their skills. I work closely with product and operations teams to understand what's needed, talk through trade-offs, and agree on what to build.
Outside work
I'm interested in literature, music, science, and photography. I studied English literature at Skidmore, and the photographs on this site are mine.
